With more than 350 study abroad programs in 70 countries, Ohio State offers psychology majors an opportunity to gain valuable experience learning in another part of the world. Students can choose Ohio State faculty led programs, third party provider programs and international exchange programs. Exchange Programs

The Office of International Affairs and the Department of Psychology offer three international exchange programs in Germany, Singapore and Spain for psychology majors to deepen their knowledge and skills abroad. Exchange programs are intended for students who are experienced travelers and are looking for an independent international experience.

This bilateral exchange program usually runs autumn and spring semester. Ohio State students are paired with students from the University of Mannheim to aid in their study abroad experience and intercultural exchange.

Founded in 1967, the University of Mannheim has quickly become one of Germany's preeminent institutions for business and the social sciences, and it prides itself on its international influences and focus. The university itself resides primarily within the baroque Mannheim Palace and is home to approximately 12,000 full-time students. It is located in the heart of Mannheim, a multicultural city in southwestern Germany with a population of nearly 320,000.

National University of Singapore

Singapore

The National University of Singapore Psychology Exchange Program offers a distinctively Asian and global experience that is grounded in maximizing student potential and preparation. Incoming exchange students can anticipate taking mostly psychology courses, but they can also supplement these with a variety of cross-disciplinary courses from other departments.

A leading global university centered in Asia, the National University of Singapore (NUS) was founded in 1905 as a modest medical college with 23 students. Today, Singapore’s flagship university spans three campuses in Kent Ridge, Bukit Timah and Outram, and is widely seen as among the best universities in Asia and the world.
