I am currently a second-year Postdoctoral Scholar in the B-BAL with Scott Hayes. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Arizona State University and completed my PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Arizona, specializing in Neuropsychology. I completed my clinical internship at the Louis Stokes VA in Cleveland, Ohio (Neuropsychology Track). My research interest includes understanding health and genetic risk factors for neurocognitive disorders and age-related cognitive impairment. More specifically, I focus on the relationship between episodic memory and hippocampal perfusion. Currently, I am investigating how physical fitness and exercise relate to hippocampal perfusion, which may mediate benefits on episodic memory.
