The Department of Psychology is pleased to announce Diana Zuckerman as the recipient of its 2024 Distinguished Alumni Award. This annual departmental honor recognizes especially accomplished graduates who have earned distinction in their careers.
Dr. Zuckerman, who completed her PhD in the Ohio State Department of Psychology in 1977, is President of the National Center for Health Research, where she leads groundbreaking work on healthcare and health policy. She has testified before U.S Congressional Committees, federal agencies and international lawmakers and been a key figure in national discussions on issues like lead exposure. Her influence reaches across government, nonprofit sectors and beyond.
Dr. Zuckerman will return to Ohio State to receive her award and to address faculty and students. Additional details are forthcoming.
