PSYCH 2220 Learning Lab
The Psychology 2220 Learning Lab provides free academic support for students enrolled in Psychology 2220: Data Analysis in Psychology. Peer Experts help students understand concepts, review for tests and work on practice problems. All services are free, and no appointments are needed! Stop by any time during our listed lab hours.

Thursday: 3 - 5 p.m.
Friday: 12 - 4 p.m.

All hours are in-person except Wednesday from 3:30-5:30 pm are on Zoom. The Zoom link can be found in CarmenCanvas.
Available Resources
The PSYCH 2220 Learning Lab offers:
- a dedicated computer lab equipped with JASP and Excel
- worksheets, textbooks, practice problems and other useful resources to help students learn concepts in data analysis
- guidance from a team of Peer Experts who are ready to answer questions and offer assistance
Expectations
- Sign in when you arrive at the lab and sign out when you leave
- Peer Experts are available to assist students in the lab, but homework problems must still be completed individually
- Peer Experts are helping many students and will be unable to offer one-on-one assistance for extended periods of time
- Come to the lab early and often; if the lab is crowded, we cannot guarantee we'll be able to help you
- The Learning Lab is not a substitute for attending class
- If you need help outside of normal lab hours, email psychlearninglab@osu.edu to check Peer Expert availability
Meet the Peer Experts
Meghan Rogozinski
Team Captain
Hey there! I’m Meghan Rogozinski, a fourth-year student from Cleveland, Ohio. I’m majoring in Psychology with minors in Speech and Hearing Science and Music. After graduation, I plan to pursue a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and PhD in Speech and Hearing Science. Outside of the Learning Lab, I also work as a Research Assistant in the Voice and Resonance Laboratory. In my free time, I am a member of Alpha Delta Pi, Off The Lake Productions, and Ohio State’s Chorale. I’m thrilled to be back in the Learning Lab this year and can’t wait to work with you!
Riya Gupta

Hi guys! My name is Riya, and I am from Macedonia, Ohio. I am currently a third-year Psychology student with minors in Statistics and Communication Technology. Ultimately, I wish to pursue a PhD in Social or Behavioral Psychology and become a professor! On campus, I am in the UGTE cohort (under the Psychology department!) and on the executive board for SAICS. Outside of academia, I enjoy cooking, practicing the piano, going on nature walks, and just yapping with my friends. I am super excited to work with you all in the Learning Lab this year!

Hello everyone! My name is Kyle, and I am from Mason, Ohio. I am a senior studying psychology and business. I am interested in both human resources and logistics. After undergrad I plan on getting a job in one of these two fields and I also plan on pursuing a master's degree in HR management. I enjoy playing sports and love being a part of both the tennis club and pickleball club at Ohio State. Come see me in the lab if you ever need help!
Henry Bradt
Hi everyone! My name is Henry, and I'm from Solon, Ohio, near Cleveland. I am a sophomore here at Ohio State, and I have a major in psychology (on the pre-med track) along with two minors in neuroscience and music. After graduation, I plan to go to med school to effectively blend my passions for human connection and scientific discovery and analysis to improve both mental and physical health, hopefully working in neurology or a related field. For fun, I enjoy singing and dancing as part of OSU's Buck That! A Cappella, running, and playing pickleball. I'm so excited to be working in the lab and can't wait to meet you all!
Kamya Panchal
Hi everyone! My name is Kamya Panchal, and I’m from Delaware, Ohio! I’m a second-year student majoring in Psychology, with a particular interest in developmental research and working with children and teens. I’ve always enjoyed teaching and helping others, especially when it comes to making difficult ideas feel a little more approachable. Outside of academics, I’m part of the OSU Taekwondo Club and enjoy staying active through tennis. When I’m not studying, I’m usually reading fiction, catching up with friends, exploring campus, or looking for my next coffee. I’m excited to be part of the Learning Lab this year and can’t wait to meet everyone and work together!
Gabbie Kosakowski
Hi! My name is Gabbie Kosakowski, and I am a fourth-year student from the Cleveland area. I am doing a dual degree in psychology and finance with a minor in financial planning. I hope to go into financial planning or analysis once I graduate. I am involved on campus with organizations such as Psychology Club, Women in Business, and Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. For fun, I enjoy baking, Pilates, traveling to new places, listening to music, shopping too much, and getting sweet treats. My first semester, I majored in engineering, so if you have any questions about switching to a psychology major or topics in Psych 2220, feel free to reach out!

Hi everyone! My name is Alex, and I'm a senior from Monroe Twp., New Jersey. I am pursuing a B.S. in neuroscience and a B.A. in psychology with a minor in business. In addition to being a peer expert, I am a member of the women's club soccer team as well as a research assistant in the Behavioral Lab in Fischer. In my free time, I enjoy lifting/running, traveling, and trying new coffee shops. I'm looking forward to working with you in the Learning Lab!
Layne Nelson
Hello! My name is Layne Nelson and I am a fourth-year Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience major and Psychology minor at OSU! I am currently on the Pre-Med track and am hopeful to pursue a career as a pediatric physician in the future! I am from Wooster, Ohio, which is about 1.5 hours northeast of Columbus. Outside of being a Peer Expert, I like to do nails in my free time as well as hanging out with friends, playing card games, playing piano, and watching sitcoms with my roommate. I am very excited to work with everyone in the Learning Lab and can't wait for a great semester!
Leah Nienaber
Hi everyone! My name is Leah Nienaber, and I am a fourth-year Biology major with a Developmental Psychology minor. I am currently on the pre-dental track, and I am hoping to be a Pediatric Dentist one day. I am from Loveland, OH, which is just outside of Cincinnati and during the summer I work at a dental office closer to Dayton. On campus, I am involved in Biology research, Bluefish Swim School, and Chi Omega. In my free time, I enjoy lifting, taking fitness classes at the RPAC and Body Alive, hiking with my dog, watching reality TV with my friends, and trying new restaurants and ice cream places. I am so excited to be back working with you all in the Learning Lab!
Andy Ogle
Hello! I'm Anderson Ogle, but feel free to call me Andy! I'm from the small town of Cambridge, Ohio, and this is my final semester here at Ohio State as I graduate in December. My big dream is to earn a PhD in clinical or counseling psychology and one day help athletes as a sports and performance psychologist. You may see me in other capacities around campus: I am a PRO (Peer Reaching Out) who facilitates REACH suicide prevention trainings to undergraduates at OSU, and work in the Ratcliff-McKoon Cognitive Psychology lab. In my free time, I love managing my fantasy football teams, writing, and playing golf. I hope to help you all learn as much as possible in this course, and I truly believe this class and its contents can and should be used in everyday life to make sense of the world as we know it.

Hi everyone! My name is Jona. I am a fourth year from Solon, Ohio, and I am majoring in Psychology with minors in Studio Art and Child Abuse and Neglect. I plan to receive my bachelor's degree in psychology and then pursue a PhD in clinical psychology. I hope to become a children’s clinical psychologist in the future. On campus, I am VP of Albanian Club and a research assistant for a psychology lab. During my free time, I love to crochet, paint, play volleyball, and spend time with my cat, Buttercup. Hello! I'm Faith, a 3rd year majoring in Psychology and Criminology with a minor in English from Cleveland Ohio. I'm a research assistant in the Mood, Anxiety, and Transdiagnostic Treatment Lab with Dr. Matt Southward and a research assistant working with Dr. Steven Lopez in the Criminology Department. I'm also a member of the Humanities Scholars Program. In my free time, I love reading, listening to music, spending time outside, and hanging out with friends. I'm so excited to meet everyone!

Hi everyone! My name is Caden and I'm a fourth-year student from Cleveland, Ohio. I am majoring in Psychology and Spanish, with a minor in Criminal Justice/Criminology. Ultimately, my plans are to go to graduate school for Clinical/Forensic Psychology to become a Forensic Psychologist and work in the justice system. Outside of my work as a Psych 2220 Peer Expert at Ohio State, I love to hang out with friends and family, travel, explore Columbus, play sports and work out, and am involved in several clubs and organizations on campus.
