You know you want to go to graduate school and that a personal statement is required as part of the application process. However, you are unsure what, exactly, it is, when you need to start writing it, and how to get started/what to include or not include on this document.
During this interactive presentation and discussion, you will learn:
- What a personal statement is and why it's important to the application process
- What to include and not include in the statement
- Tips and resources for getting started and making your statement engaging
This session will be most beneficial for students in their second or third year, but all are welcome.
