About Fanita Tyrell:
"Fanita Tyrell is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at University of Minnesota. Fanita's research seeks to elucidate processes of risk and resilience among ethinic minority and adversity-exposed populations as they operate within broader cultural contexts. Fanita hopes that her research will refine existing theoretical models of risk and resilience, inform prevention and intervention programs to promote human adaptation and resilience, and improve policy measures that will help disadvantaged youth."
