PSYCH 5622: The Development of Brain and Behavior

This course explores the process of brain development from conception through adulthood. The course will cover the basic processes of central nervous system differentiation, how the brain continues to change in infancy, childhood and adolescence, and how environmental variables and experiences shape brain development and program behavior throughout life, in human and animal models.

Prereq: A grade of C- or above in 2220, 2300, and 3313; or a grade of B or above in 3313 and Neurosc 3000, and Neuroscience major; or Grad standing.
