Luca Hartman | hartman.799@osu.edu
Hi! My name is Luca Hartman (they/he), and I am from Dover, Ohio. I am currently a second year Psychology major with a minor in Spanish. After undergrad, I plan on pursuing a master’s degree and becoming a therapist specializing in counseling for adopted children and their families. Outside of the psychology department, I am also the secretary of AROUSE student radio, along with a member of their magazine board. I am also in Universities Allied for Essential Medicines’ Ohio State chapter, and I work to advocate for representative testing and affordable pricing. In my free time, I am an avid thrifter, and I love anything music related whether it’s going to concerts or playing my violin in the campus orchestra. Additionally, I am openly LGBTQ and feel very lucky to be in that position, but I know how hard it is to hide that aspect of yourself. If you’re interested in talking about psychology or just need a queer friend, do not hesitate to reach out! I am so excited to meet more amazing people!

Hi everybody! I am a second year from Sunbury, OH and I’m pursuing a Psychology BA degree with a minor in Spanish. After undergrad, I plan on attending graduate school for Clinical Mental Health Counseling in hopes of being able to provide more accessible counseling to those in underserved communities. In addition to being a psychology ambassador, I am a wellness coach for the SWC (Student Wellness Center), a member of Camp Kesem, Positive Psychology Club, and OSU Psi Chi. I love everything art-related (especially drawing), crocheting, hiking, camping, and I’m convinced that pickleball is the best sport ever. I’ve wanted to study psychology since middle school so you could definitely say it’s a strong passion of mine. In addition to that, I’m very interested in social justice and love to learn and talk about social psychology. Please feel free to reach out for any reason at all – I would be more than happy to give advice or just chat!

I also enjoy hanging out with friends, whether we’re watching a movie, going for a walk, or grabbing coffee. Hey everybody! I am a second-year majoring in Psychology (BS). I am also minoring in Criminology and Korean. After graduating, I plan on getting a PhD in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in criminal psychology. I am a part of the Second-year Transformational Experience Program (STEP) here at OSU and would love to talk about how you can also take advantage of all the opportunities Ohio State offers. In my free time, I love listening to music, playing guitar and other instruments, hanging out with my friends, and watching K-Dramas. I’m super excited to meet everyone, so if you have any questions about Ohio State or psychology or just want to talk, please reach out!
