Faculty Positions
Assistant or Associate Professor: Cognitive Neuroscience of Human Memory
The Department of Psychology at the Ohio State University invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured (Assistant or Associate rank) faculty hire with a focus on human memory research. We seek applicants with a primary focus on basic research on foundational questions of human memory, specifically long-term memory in healthy adults. Ideal applicants will study human memory using one or more neuroimaging approaches.
The successful candidate will have access to our state-of-the-art neuroimaging facilities housing fMRI, EEG, TMS, and eye-tracking equipment. The candidate will also have opportunities to build connections in our department with colleagues studying developmental, aging, clinical, and nonhuman populations; colleagues developing cutting-edge cognitive neuroscience and computational modeling approaches; and colleagues studying other cognitive processes that may interact with memory (e.g., attention, learning, language, emotion, decision, motivation, etc). The candidate will join a vibrant community at The Ohio State University including the interdepartmental Center for Cognitive and Brain Sciences (CCBS), Center for Cognitive and Behavioral Brain Imaging (CCBBI), and Translational Data Analytics Institute (TDAI).
