She is interested in both child-level factors such as how early language and pre-literacy skills predict later reading outcomes as well as family-level factors such as having a parent, sibling, or other close family member with an existing learning difference as a potential risk factor. Dr. Pohl Zuckerman serves as the director of publications for The Dyslexia Foundation and helps coordinate their biannual research symposia.
