PSYCH 4555: Adolescent Sexuality
This course focuses on the study of sexuality in adolescents. We will spend the term exploring the scientific literature about factors which influence how sexuality manifests and is experienced, as well as problems related to sexuality in the adolescent population. We will explore what the literature suggests about the impact of culture, gender, identity and orientation on an individual’s development of sexuality. We will also consider the relationship between risk factors and protective factors and their influence on sexual and behavioral outcomes.
