Preparing for Graduate School

Applying to graduate school or a professional program can seem like an overwhelming task. You may ask yourself questions like, “Where do I even begin? How can I make myself a competitive applicant? What is the GRE? How far in advance should I ask for letters of recommendation?”

Beginning the process early will help alleviate some of the stress and will allow you to better manage your time as an undergraduate student. Getting involved in research, participating in an internship, joining a student organization, completing any needed prerequisite coursework, and gathering information on specific programs of interest are all important steps to consider in the planning process.
