A REACH training session for the psychology department on Tuesday, February 19th from 3:30-5:00pm. REACH is offered by OSU's suicide prevention office and provides participants with the training and tools to recognize signs of distress, start a dialogue about suicide, and provide resources to help someone in need. The training has benefits for anybody interested in helping others and all faculty, staff, and graduate students in the department are welcome to attend. However, you may find this program especially valuable if you are in a position of regularly interacting with students, such as a teaching or advising role, so that you are equipped with the knowledge and skills to support your students and provide resources when needed.

Walk-ins will also be welcome, but we appreciate advance notice so that our REACH trainer, David Wirt, can bring enough materials for all attendees.
